About Dan

Instructional design

Dan has five years of experience as an Instructional Designer for Expedia Group. He designed, piloted, and implemented face-to-face workshops, leadership development programs and online learning for a globally diverse audience of over 22,000 people.

He designed and facilitated workshops for live groups numbering 5 – 150+ in Australia, South Africa, Philippines, Sweden, Czech Republic, Canada, throughout the US, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Switzerland, Japan, Brazil, and the UK.


Film & television
Growing up in New Zealand, Dan began his career as an actor. He had a starring role in the TV series Jackson’s Wharf, and made guest appearances in shows such as Young Hercules and Shortland Street. He also directed and cut ‘Battle of the Year’ (2002): a five-camera live shoot of New Zealand’s national breakdancing competition.


He earned a BA in Film & Media at Otago University in New Zealand, and is a graduate of The Film School, Seattle.
